Our History

St Agnes Nursery and Primary School Entebbe was started in 1930 by the missionary sisters who handed it over to sisters of the Immaculate Heat of Mary Reparatrix Ggogonya. It is a mixed School day and boarding with both nursery and primary sections

St. Agnes Primary School, located in Entebbe, Uganda, is a government-aided institution under the leadership of Head Teacher Sr. Nassali Jane Francis. The school has a rich history and has been serving the community for several decades. In recent years, St. Agnes Primary School has made significant strides in both infrastructure and academics. In 2024, the school installed a solar energy system, funded by the European Union through the Kampala Capital City Authority's Program on Integrated Local Finances for Sustainable Urban Development (PIFUD). This initiative reduced the school's electricity bills by half, allowing for the reallocation of funds to student needs and ensuring a reliable power supply for facilities like dormitories and the computer laboratory. Academically, the school has demonstrated commendable performance. In the Primary Leaving Examinations it's on record that our students have been getting first and second division all through the past years. Beyond academics, St. Agnes Primary School actively participates in extracurricular activities. In 2023, the school excelled in the Entebbe Volleyball Championships, securing the overall winner's position in the primary schools category and winning a trophy. In 2024, the school excelled in the Music Dance & Drama, securing the overall winner's position in the primary schools category and winning a trophy.
